The Great Parks Community Centre is a venue and home for the local residents of the Blatchcombe neighbourhood. We provide activities, groups, projects and volunteering opportunities for all age groups. Through these and working together as a community we aim to prevent social isolation, have a positive impact on anti-social behaviour, and influence healthy lifestyles within an area of deprivation. In the middle of the Foxhole Rd shops, a community space run by local volunteers for the community of the Foxhole area in Paignton. Everyone is welcome in our comfortable and safe space. ​A place for friendship, information, support and encouragement. The Cafe offers hot and cold drinks as well as homemade cakes. The Hub part of the Cafe is a place for information, advice, activities and services. Providing support and hope for young people aged 11 to 25 in Torbay. Staff build trusting relationships with young people, listening and helping them share their problems. We love street football and other sports and we host a local support groups including ‘Bambinos’ (Toddler Group), Craft Club, Saturday Brunch Club, Friday Coffee Shop, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, a Computer and Literacy Skills drop in service and a Community Gardening Project. A safe space in Paignton near LIDLs, a listening ear and practical support. Free tea and coffee, the use of a phone to a UK landline, use of a shower and cooking facilities.

The FEEL SAFE SCHEME is a Neighbourhood Watch/Police initiative, specifically designed to help vulnerable people FEEL SAFE in their own homes.
Something as simple as fitting a security light, a door chain, a spy-hole, a strong bolt on a gate, or a window lock, is enough to give an anxious person peace of mind.  These are the kind of things that the Feel Safe Scheme will do for vulnerable, needy people who have a fear of crime and who feel insecure in their own homes.

CAB offers information and advice online, on the telephone and face-to-face. Advice about Benefits, Housing, Consumer issues, Employment, Debt, Family and Relationships, Legal, Immigration and many others. Based at 29 Palace Avenue, Paignton (01803 521726), with drop in sessions 9.30am-12.30 daily, apart from Wednesday (and Friday is emergencies only)
